There are several strategies that can help a player win at blackjack, but it usually takes years to perfect them. Some of the most important ones include doubling down on strong hands and standing when holding a high hand. The player should also avoid splitting aces and eights, and they should always surrender when their hand is weak if the dealer is showing an ace.
